Did Rescue Pacifica folks advise anyone to NOT donate to KPFA?

Did Rescue Pacifica folks disrupt or picket the Craneway Crafts Fair?

Several Rescue Pacifica members handed out informational campaign flyers at the Craneway Crafts fair Saturday Dec 11th and Sunday Dec 12th 2021, as members of both groups have done for many years. The "Protectors" group had their own table, handed out their own literature. In no way were we "picketing," and of course we urged attendees to both join KPFA and donate to KPFA. (The only person we know of who urged Pacifica members not to give money to their station was Protectors-promoted
Ian Masters, and he's been given 9 hours of prime-time airtime at KPFA per week.

"Flyering" that Saturday at the KPFA Crafts Fair was, at first, for some of us an even more rewarding experience than usual, and judging by the many "thank yous" and smiles, also for those in line. We were mindful of anyone engaged in discussion, or whose body language seemed to discourage encounters, and we skipped them.

Yet many in line, more than not, seemed very happy to receive information about voting (one way or the other -- they knew it was one group campaigning). And some we'd skipped approached us later.

At some point Carol Wolfley arrived from the opposing slate and interrupted a conversation between one of our members and someone in line. She accused our member of being both a "holocaust denier" and an "anti-vaxxer" - both completely baseless charges.

So these particular falsehoods by the group calling themselves the "Protectors," including that any of us urged anyone not to give money to KPFA, is so outside reality as to be ludicrous in addition to being defamatory.
